Always nice to get a fresh take on the tropes that new writers fall in to. Reddit User "Indeedsir" breaks down some of the areas that a script can fall apart.
What I like about it is they mention that talking about a script or story idea is not a done deal. It is finishing that story that makes it real. So many people, myself included, get hung up on what we deem a real game-changer of an idea but until you type 'The End' or 'Fade out' all you have is a thought and that makes you no different than any other mook out there with a brain.
Print this out and slap it on the wall as a reminder so that when you begin a scene you can look this over and be ready.
